Overall great experience. Well maintained and friendly staff! We had lots of fun and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
Great course that is well maintained. The course is challenging as the holes are replicas of professional level holes, but Forward tees make it manageable for higher handicap players. Shop staff and Starters are always friendly and helpful. Tee times are spaced out enough that I typically haven't had to wait long. Always see a lot of wildlife, including deer. I don't have a monthly program/membership (yet), but the benefits are worth it as you only have to play twice a month to be money ahead on green fees alone.
Played here for the first time. The course replicated 18 PGA tour golf holes. It was quite spectacular. I do not know all of the holes or courses but I did recognize many.
The greens and fairways were well maintained for February. Overall it was a fun experience.
It was one of the most interesting courses I have ever played. You can go from playing Augusta amen corner to the island green at sawgrass in the span of four holes! The entire staff was amazing from Clayton who checked me in To the folks working in the restaurant!
So enjoyed the Fellowship of Christian Athletes charity tournament today! The staff was incredibly attentive and kind! Learned a lot about the replication (as much as one can, right?) of famous holes across the US and throughout our golfing history. Can see how the drought has had some effect on the course. Loved seeing the deer, eagle, heron -- almost made you forget you're still in Houston. Almost... Too bad it's in the flight pattern for IAH and all that jet noise. Weather was great! Food was good! An excellent day!
Course layout was fantastic. Unfortunately it’s not being watered enough. Tee boxes are difficult to put a tee in the ground and fairway are getting bare. There is no drinking water on the course. In the middle of summer, that is kind of a big deal.
Best holes from all over the US. Difficulty 7/10. Tight fairways, small greens, but overall great experience.
For a severe drought season, they have done their best, and it shows. We played 9-2-2023, and as dry as its been, the greens are still fantastic. We enjoyed our round.
